Several medical supply stores visited the FabLab.
The topic of this event was the digitization / digitalization of processes and the digital production of aids for people with disabilities.
This first meeting was held in order to identify initial points of contact and to discover possible co-operations. Many, very different and complex approaches were found, which will be tested during the next meeting. As part of the subsequent prototyping, the digital production methods available in the FabLab are tried out and used to implement ideas and new solutions immediately.
The second event was intended to turn the ideas, developed during the first meeting, into tangible results.
Among other things, a mount for a control device was designed for people with motor impairments and a prototype can now be made on the 3D printer.
All participants rated the event as extremely successful and further dates are planned.
