The students presented their results of the- course “Development of electronic assistance systems for people with disabilities”.
Under the direction of Prof. Dr. med. Michael Schäfer and in a joint campaign with Laura Keders and Aleksandra Konopek, we have redesigned this event in the sense of service learning, in order to integrate the creativity and the commitment of the students for our society.
In co-operation with the Bottroper Workshops for People with disabilities (www.bottroper-werkstaetten.de), students have developed great prototypes, which were presented publicly.
Many have literally outgrown themselves. The quality and variety of the results were often amazing. Some projects are so innovative that start-ups could arise from them.
